From Humble Beginnings...
After a decade of hard work as a mechanical engineer in the fluid power industry Donald Gauthier and his wife Barb realized their dream of building an engineering and distribution company to serve the West Michigan area. From humble beginnings in 1963, with inventory held in the family garage, their company went on to become the industry benchmark for customer service, quality, and attention to detail. Donald Engineering remains a family business, with the torch having been passed from father to son, Mark Gauthier, in 1995.
Today, Donald Engineering continues the vision. Our strength is founded on the education of our employees. Their continued dedication to thought leadership, detail, and service is proof of our commitment as a company. From our corporate office in Grand Rapids and lakeshore office in Grand Haven, we serve customers throughout the Midwest.
